After several months of trying to figure out a gremlin in our fuel system with #26, we were finally back out on the track last weekend! It was our first time back out since February at Buttonwillow. We were testing a new wheel/tire setup, as well as a new fuel system and running a stock Japanese imported S5 bock. Since it had been a while this car was last out, the car had to be relearned again. Testing #25 at Mazfest which is a whole different beast had spoiled me with the double wishbone suspension, stiffer chassis, and NA power!
As of now we are unclear of which position we ended in, since a broken wastegate pipe ended our day early. And Redline Time Attack has not yet posted the final results on their page. (wish they were quicker at updating their site after events) We ran Modified RWD class as always, our best lap of the day was a 1:53:529.
